I know I said I would give more tales from Disney, and I will, but you had to see this!
Who says boys can't cook? (or men?) I, for one, will be the first to admit that Cecil is a good cook! On the rare occasion that he actually has to cook the whole meal, I know it's guaranteed to be a good one! (clearly from looking at me, I have had very few good meals-ha!)
Both of my boys LOVE to help me in the kitchen, especially when I'm baking. They have their own Little Tykes kitchen in their playroom and every so often will go in and put on their aprons (yes, they have aprons) and pretend cook. It's darling. Absolutely darling. This particular night, they were baking me a cake (now why on earth they think I would like a cake is beyond me, ha-ha-ha)
My little Southern Cooks in Training:
Here's Carter with his red/white checkered apron like "Ms. Barbara at school"
.......and Nolan, complete with the country bumpkin red Hawaiian punch mustache!

A break from reality at DISNEY!!
Okay, I know....it's finally here...another blog posting...but hey--I'm a busy girl okay?!!
Everyone that knows me knows I am absolutely addicted to Disney World! I mean, really addicted! Where else on earth can you take a break from cold hard reality, but Disney?
So.....we went to Disney this past weekend as a surprise for Cecil's 30th birthday (hey--I know what you're thinking--he's 30--couldn't you think of a better place than Disney?) One, he's not quite 30 (I should probably tell you that his bday isn't until Feb 12th) and two, it was the only place I could convince him to go without spilling all the beans--I had his parents, his brother and his wife, and my brother and his wife and daughters meet us down there! We had a great time and Cecil was very very surprised! I've included several pictures for you below!!
This is us and Cecil's brother, Edward, and his wife, Nancy waiting to get on Pirates of the Caribbean--yo-ho!
And.....us again with my brother, Jamie and his wife, Nichole.
Cecil's mom, who by the way, is like, the best mother-in-law EVER, ordered him a birthday cake to be delivered at The Liberty Tree Tavern, where she made Saturday night dinner reservations for all of us! Here's the "almost" birthday boy with his SURPRISE cake!!
More tales of Disney to follow in a few days.....I think.

One Clean Playroom!
Last night, since my two boys were at my in-laws riverhouse (I had to work today) I decided it was high-time to clean out the playroom. With birthdays back-to-back and Christmas in-between, we had lots of toys that needed to be ushered in and some old, broken ones needed to go!
What do you think? Pretty good job huh? Now, if I could get it to stay that way for more than .....oh...let's say 5 minutes.......ha-ha

This blogging thing is hard!
So, I consider myself, SOMEWHAT savvy when it comes to a computer--I mean good grief, I'm on one all day long at my job, then come home and do stuff on the computer--I cannot, however, figure out the picture thing on the blog postings, SO, as soon as I do, I'll have another posting for ya.

Stress, stress and more stress
So...here lately, my life, or rather its daily activities is just plain stressful! It's tax time for the hubby and I (ours are due March 1)--plus I'm working overtime (and lots of it)--my youngest boy is potty-training--and the house, well, we won't even talk about the mess in my house. Sigh--I was listening to some praise music this morning on the way to work--singing burns calories right? --anyhow, listening to praise music and one of my favorite songs came on....and the jist of it? MORNIN'S COMING!!! HOLD ON TIGHT!
The beginning(s) of a blog.......
My confession? I only created this blog so I could comment on Annie's, Carrie's and Jana's (my friend from Utah)..sad...but true. For now....Blog to follow...soon.............
