"Wedding Edition" of Wordless Wednesday

My boys were in their Uncle's wedding this past weekend.  More later on all that, but here are some pictures until I can post the rest!

Monkey Munch

Each Friday, Nolan’s class has Monkey Munch.  It’s just a fancy name for a snack. HA!  This Friday is N’s Monkey Munch day, so of course, we broke out pretzels, sprinkles, and vanilla almond bark! YUM

Nolan was a HUGE help to me this afternoon!  As I took the pretzels out from the almond bark, he sprinkled them….a few pretzels are a bit heavy on the sprinkles, but hey—you only live once, right?

It just doesn’t get any better than this!

Do you Pinterest?

I've discovered Pinterest.  I know, I know....I don't need any more "hobbies" or "likes" or something else to occupy the time I don't have!  ha!

Let me tell ya' right to the here and now.  I'M ADDICTED.  I have purposefully stayed away from this phenomenon!  And lord help, I fell to peer pressure the other day and joined.  Yikes.

For those that have no idea what Pinterest is, it's basically an online smorgasbord of pictures, ideas, likes and whatnot that you can keep all in one central location.  It's your "interest board" that you "pin" things to--hence, Pinterest.  I LOVE IT.

Keepin’ it real

I’m just here to keep it real for ya’ folks. 

This was my mountain of clean laundry to be folded over the weekend.  Oh—and this does not include the 2 loads of towels in the laundry room and and the load of bleach whites in the laundry room waiting to be folded.

Lest you think I have all my laundry caught up, I still have 3 loads of dirty clothes to wash.  Yes.  I ALWAYS have laundry to do.

 

I’m off to fold laundry now.

Y’all know by now we are die hard GATOR fans ‘round this house!

This past weekend, we had 2 extra tickets and I invited my two teenage cousins to go along with us!  Wes and Brooke are such good kids and very special to me!

Of course the cousins had to get a picture!

And because my children are bound and determined to prove that they truly are rednecks at heart (or maybe they’re just being BOYS) they played in the bushes and found ways to entertain themselves!

Go Gators!

I'm behind in blogging, but wanted to post about the first Gator game!

As always, we had a great time at the tailgate and would you believe I only got 1 picture?  BUT it's a GREAT picture and one that we LOVE!

That's the hubs and myself with Abby Wambach, the best women's soccer player in the world.  She was at our tailgate Saturday, along with Heather Mitts and we had a great time!  Cecil said she was an awesome player and I thought I remembered that, but I looked up her accomplishments on the Internet when we got home.  OH MY!  She's AMAZING.  If you have time, take a look at her SUCCESSES!  The best part?  She was a GATOR!

The football team had a big win Saturday and we're looking ahead to more big wins this season!
