Yuck. I shudder every year when December 31 rolls around because I know for us it means TAX time. Because we don’t pay quarterly taxes on the farm, it means anything we owe good ‘ol Uncle Sam is due by March 1. THIS means on January 1, we have to start gathering up receipts, organizing, sorting, and adding up numbers.
It’s BAD y’all. Real BAD. This is what my table usually looks like for a solid week while we’re adding up and looking for digits!
Suffice to say, I’ll be glad when we finish this up (hopefully tonight) and deliver it to our accountant.

Lord have mercy, we do pay quarterly and it eats our lunch!! Good ol Uncle Sam.
