I've been consumed lately with WORRY and STRESS. There are a few circumstances in our lives right now that are less than perfect and the trials we're going through right now are STRESSFUL.
A verse that keeps making itself known to my head and heart is,
".......Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life?" Matthew 6:25-27
I know that my help comes from the ONE who has ALL the answers to my worry and stress!
"I lift up my eyes to the hills—where does my help come from? My help comes from the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth." Psalm 121:1-2

Hang in there Charon...I have to remind myself of the same thing. God can handle it...IF we leave it in His hands...I like to think He needs my help...

ReplyDeleteI think we ALL go through times like this... often times no one really is willing to admit it because we don't want them to think we are weak so we keep up the strong front....

ReplyDeleteAwww praying for you. I completely understand your pain, I am a WORRIER, hate it but it's true. I like to feel control as well, but truth is, when are we every really in control of anything? It's always best to give it up to the one who IS in control! ;) Prayers your way friend!!
